I'm so excited to share that I will be spending this summer at Maine State Music Theatre! I will be in the ensembles of Funny Girl and White Christmas!
ABOUT ME
Hello hello! I'm Lav Raman (she/her). I grew up right outside of Pittsburgh, PA. I'm a current member of the Penn State BFA Musical Theatre Class of 2025 and the Schreyers Honors College. So far, some of my favorite experiences at Penn State have been playing Natasha in Natasha, Pierre, and The Great Comet of 1812, being a member of Penn State Natya (an Indian classical dance team), and just getting to grow alongside my class and watch us all become our best selves!
In my free time, you can find me reading, crocheting, or playing with my puppy Kai. I also love to make music, and I am often in the midst of a new transcription or composition project. Additionally, as a proud South Asian artist, I am very passionate about finding new ways to integrate my cultural background into my art and bring all of myself to all I do!
